The fifth edition of the festival brought together over 300 students from across the country, giving us a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to the exciting world of wildlife and the magic of conservation work. Our stand captured the attention of both university and school students with a rich display from our "wild exhibition"—life-sized models of rare and endangered species such as the Saker Falcon, Bearded Vulture, and Lesser Kestrel, alongside models of Black Sea marine life and the "Natura 2000 in Bulgaria" exhibition.
However, the true stars of the day were our wild ambassadors—the birds Harry, Mia, Blaga, and Luli—who welcomed all the guests. Through them, visitors were able to experience the magic of nature conservation up close.
Alongside the core work of treating injured wildlife at the Rescue Centre, and our projects like LIFE for Falcons and LIFE for Bearded Vulture, we also highlighted our collaborative efforts with the "BARBATUS" Student Ecological Club at Trakia University. We emphasized the crucial role of the volunteers and Trakia University students, who are an integral part of our daily operations and work.
We would like to thank Trakia University and the Career Development Centre for the invitation and the opportunity to showcase our work to everyone choosing the path of science and nature!
