At the festival, we spoke with visitors about our work to restore the Saker Falcon population in Bulgaria, the field activities of our team, the characteristics of the Saker Falcon species, and the importance of protecting and conserving it.
Helping us were the owls Mia and Luly – birds with permanent injuries from the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre of Green Balkans, which visitors could see up close at our booth.
For children, we organised fun activities - assembling puzzles and Q&A on nature conservation, and those who did well received small gifts from our team.
Our volunteers - veterinary medicine students from Trakia University, also contributed greatly to making all this possible, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!
