For yet another year, the team and volunteers of Green Balkans were guests at the Hello Health festival in Stara Zagora.
Before the gathered multitude of guests and residents of the city, we from Green Balkans together with our volunteers, students from Trakia University, spoke about our cause and our joint initiatives.
Part of our presentation included the activities of project "Life for Falcons" in which Green Balkans is a partner organisation. We spoke about the Saker Falcon and the monitoring of the wild, albeit very small, population of the species in our country.
We also spoke about the activities for the return of the symbol of Bulgarian nature conservation and project "Life for Bearded Vulture", implemented by Green Balkans and various Bulgarian and foreign partners.
Last but not least, we promoted our partnership with Trakia University and specifically the student ecological club "Barbatus," whose members are our invaluable volunteers.
Also present at the festival was Harry the buzzard – a bird with permanent disabilities, part of the educational programme of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre of Green Balkans. Everytone had the opportunity to take a picture with it as a souvenir from this wonderful day.
