After the visit to the children of Malko Kadievo, Mogila and Dulboki, the kids from the village Yagoda participated in their own training from the Green Balkan’s team about protection and conservation of the environment and animals with a focus on the centers work towards the repopulation of the Saker Falcon in Bulgaria.
During the time of internship of the team and volunteers from the Thracian University, we started a discussion on waste; sorting, collecting, and recycling. We discussed how human waste damages wild animals, the environment, and even ourselves.
Through role-playing games, our young friends put what they learned into practice, and our buzzard Hari made an unforgettable visit for the kids. As always, there were plenty of prizes for the kids!
This visit was part of Green Balkans work on the project “Volunteers for the wild nature - Searching for the Saker Falcon”.
This project is carried out thanks to the biggest social responsibility initiative of Lidl Bulgaria, “You and Lidl, for our tomorrow” with partnership from the foundation "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" and Bulgarian Donor Forum.
