Representatives of the Jerez Zoo - guests of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre

22.07.2019
At the end of last week, guests of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre were our friends from the zoo in Jerez, Spain!

For a second consecutive year the Jerez Zoo is supporting the "Egyptian vulture NEW LIFE" project (LIFE16 NAT/BG/000874), giving us their young Egyptian vultures hatched in the zoo to be released here. It was a real pleasure for us to meet face to face the people who until now we've only known by email. In the Rescue Centre our guests got to see the various activities we do - educational activities, breeding and reintroduction programmes, medical treatment and rehabilitation.

Of course, they paid special attention to the Egyptian vulture aviary, as to the other activities of the Centre related to the project. Later that same day, we had the opportunity to show our guests the rich biodiversity of the Sinite kamani Natural Park and the Sliven region.

Our team is always glad when we have the opportunity to exchange information and experience with specialists and like-minded people, and we are convinced that these meetings with partners are the foundation of success
