11.11.2019
Over 150 children along with their parents and teachers used the last warm autumn days to visit the Green Balkans Rescue Center.

60 first graders from the ‘Dimitar Blagoev’ primary school in Stara Zagora visited the Rescue Center on the 18.10 and learned more about the protected species at the Center and our work. All children were interested to learn more about vultures and take a close look at their lives via some of the short clips from the vulture breeding program at the Center.

On the 21.10 the children from the 3rd and 4th grades at the ‘Kiril Hristov’ primary school visited the Center. We’d like to thank Ms Yankova and the school board who have made their annual visits at the Rescue Center a tradition.

The 6-graders from the ‘P.R. Slaveykov’ secondary school in Kardzhali chose to visit us on the 25th for their wildlife trip. 30 children took part in our discussion regarding the reasons for some species’ extinction and different reintroduction programs.

On the last day of October, 10 kids from the ‘Hristo Botev’ primary school in Krasnovo, Hisar Municipality, visited the wildlife patients at the Rescue Center where they heard about their stories and how they’ve come to live at the Center and we all talked about protecting wild animals.
