Yet another Egyptian Vulture pair have a second egg in the Green Balkans Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre!

Recently the good news coming from the breeding programme of the Rescue Centre are not stopping! Now we share the news of the laying of a second egg of an Egyptian Vulture pair in the Centre!

So, at the moment we have two pairs of the species, each with two eggs! It is a big step forward for the team of the 'Egyptian Vulture NEW LIFE' project (LIFE16 NAT/BG/000874) as now there is the possibility of providing the birds for the activities of experimental releases of young ones, part of the project.

We remind that the pair was gifted to us earlier in the year from the Prague Zoo, for which we sincerely thank our friend Антон Вайдал, with whose help all this happened.

Now a big wait commences, and we hope our dreams will be realised and we will be able to share the good news of Egyptian Vulture hatchlings!
