Wild rescuers in the snow

When the thick snow fells and is very romantic, high in the mountain, the roads are inaccessible, and the vultures from the adaptation aviary – very, very hungry. And then help arrives in the form of the “Bright Future for the Black Vulture” LIFE14 NAT/BG/649 project team with the aid of the young participants of the MoE’s “Student Practices” project.

And so, it is a cold winter morning. Two vehicles packed with, a strange by common standards, luggage, set out of Stara Zagora for Tuzha. At the village’s end the people dismount the vehicles, put the extraordinary luggage, of animal carcasses, on their backs, and set off in the snow path up into the mountain.

The path is long and difficult, but the people in this strange group have a mission, and there is no time to waste. Footstep, after footstep, a short rest and up they go, into the mountain. And there, they have reached their goal. And in the aviary at the end of the world, there are dozens of starving Griffon vultures. The birds are in the snow trap weeks on end and are impatiently expecting to eat to their hearts’ content.

The precious cargo, food for the starving birds, was delivered in time to sate the hungry occupants.
At last with the mission successfully accomplished, and the rescuers, happy with the great results, hurry to the village before the night sets in.
