We released the first White storks from the center for this year!
08.07.2022The first campaingn for releasing White storks for this year from the Green Balkans Rescue Center took place a few days ago.
Guests, volenteers and interns from the "I.Pavlov" NPGVM participated in the event, as well as students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Trakia University.
A total of 10 storks were released - all adults, that underwent a course of treatment in our intensive care unit. Some of them were accommodated with since fall of 2021!
The place of release was once again the well-known - the dam of the village of Opan, sheltering hundreds of storks from the Center.
