We are taking care of the wild Egyptian vultures in the region of Provadia!

Our team continues to take care of the wild pairs of Egyptian vultures in the region of Provdia!
Several days ago, our team visited the supplementary feeding station close to the village of Partizani, where we provide food for the wild birds from this rare species, that are inhabiting the region.

During the visit, our team and assistants, veterinary students from Trakia university, cleaned up the area and checked the regular and electric fences.

The best of all is that the guests for which the feast was intended for, did not miss to make use of it and some days after the food restocking we detected the first Egyptian vultures! We could record them thanks to the mounted cameras for remote monitoring, which allow us to see from a distance what happens at the station!

The activities are financed by the Municipality of Prague and Prague Zoo in the framework of project “Protection of the Egyptian vulture in the Balkans”
