Two more birds of protected species in the poachers’ black list
13.01.2009Again, one of the birds was a Mute Swan, and the other – Common Buzzard. This time the swan was found near the village of Doganovo, Topolovgrad region. As it is clearly shown in the picture, the bird was shot in the left wing. It was badly wounded, so the injured wing will be amputated. This means that the bird will stay at the Rescue Center or a zoo for good.
However, the buzzard was not so lucky. The bird died a day after being received from the village of Petarch, Sofia region. The X-ray showed three ball-shots in its body.
