Three Egyptian vultures from the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre were given to the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria
09.08.2019
A few days ago three Egyptian vultures were sent away to the EAZA organisation.
The is part of the Green Balkans activities of the "Egyptian vulture new LIFE" project (LIFE16 NAT/BG/000874) - aiding the creation of new Egyptian vulture pairs in a number of zoos in Europe.
The offspring of these pairs would be gifted to the project with the aim of aiding the wild population through releasing them in the nature.
We thank Anton Vidal from Prague zoo, who is in charge of the Egyptian vulture in the EAZA system of zoos, for the cooperation and help once again!
