Our team and volunteers’ efforts were not in vain a couple of days ago, in the chilliest of all winters, as we left a great quantity of food on the predators’ feeding site near the village of Partizani.

Since then, different species of mammals and birds have been finding food there on the cold winter days. Even though the site was created for feeding Egyptian vultures, these birds are far South right now, so our team is happy with the other animals’ attendance! Why? - you would ask. Well, it is because their attendance makes the site actively used. Something that will definitely also attract the vultures upon their return in spring.

The activity is funded by the Prague municipality and the Prague Zoo under the “Protection of the Egyptian vulture on the Balkans” project.
