The participation of the Wildlife Rescue Centre of Green Balkans in the Trakia University's "Festival of Knowledge" has become a tradition

For yet another year, the team of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre was part of the large-scale initiative of Trakia University - "Festival of Knowledge", in Stara Zagora.
It is an open day of sorts, during which the institution for higher education invites all inquisitive people from the city of linden trees to discover the variety of courses it offers.
The participation of the Rescue Centre in the festival revealed to the curious eyes of the future graduates of the university another opportunity to upgrade their knowledge related to ecology, biology, nature conservation and wildlife veterinary medicine.
The presence of Misho the Common Buzzard and Vladko the Common kestrel - birds with permanent disabilities that were treated at the Centre's clinic, as well as the model of a stork's nest, illustrating the problem of pollution, added additional flavor to the event.
As always, our invaluable helpers were veterinary students from the university doing their internship at our Centre.
