The first baby birds left the Rescue Center

The volunteers and the staff of the Rescue Center implemented an improvised action in the foothills of the Sredna Gora Mountains. There, 16 Little owls (Athene noctua) and 15 Long-eared owls (Asio otus) were released into the wild.

All 31 birds were raised at the Rescue Center, where they were admitted earlier this year while they were still pulli. Hatched in various parts of Bulgaria, but sharing the same fate, they were sent to the Rescue Center, where volunteers and staff took care of them until they became beautiful and healthy adult birds.
We would like to thank all those, who helped us give these babies a chance.

There will be many similar lucky events, through which we will mark the successful work done by the Rescue Center.
