It was the organizers idea to dedicate a portion of the program to raptors, in particular the saker falcon, which was in accordance with the theme of the historical medieval events, that were reproduced. The Centre presented its activities in the “Life for Falcon” project of protecting and restoring the Saker falcon in Bulgaria and one of the stationary patients – the buzzard Misho, that also took part in the program, showed how engaging raptors are.
The second day of the festival was dedicated to activities with children and a special surprise from our team was the releasing of two falcons from the species kite, that were left without parents and were reared in the Centre. This exciting event marked the end of the festivities and inspired many children to the idea to give raptures a better life.
We give our thanks to the organizers of the festival and to all, that helped in its realization. Until next time!
