We are enthusiastict to share with you an incredible news about the Imperial eagles pair, which are inabitants of the Green Balkans' Wildlife rehabilitation and breeding center.

Yesterday the team of the Center spotted three eggs in the nest of the birds! This happens for the first time, after the female has been laying two eggs for several years in a row!

Unfortunately, the pair has never had offspring and we hope this year they will make a progress!

The Imperial eagle are one of the rarest eagles in Europe and Bulgaria. The pair have spent in the  Center more than 15 years. They have disabilities and can not be released in the wild.

After all we hope that some day their chicks will fly free in the sky above Bulgaria.

Only time will tell if it will come true!
