The Green Balkans team fed the wild Egyptian vultures near Provadia
14.06.2021Last week was quite busy for the Green Balkans team on the field!
Along with all the tasks, however, we found time and energy to feed the wild Egyptian vultures in the area of Provadia.
We first visited the specially created site near the Provadia village of Partizani, where our team left most of the food.
The second stop of our trip to the northeast was near another village in the region - Rechitsa, in which area there is also a pair of Egyptian vultures.
We are happy to note that the day after the feeding near Partizani, the site was visited by a bird from the local couple, who ate happily from the food left there!
The activity is part of the work of Green Balkans within the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project.
