Traditionally, this year the Green Balkans Rescue Centre team was a guest of the event Young Firefighter, organized by the Regional Directorate of Fire Safety and Protection of the Population in Stara Zagora.
It brought together children from over six Stara Zagora schools who demonstrated their skills in various areas of fire safety.
All participants - young and old learned more about wild animals and how to protect them and were able to touch the wildlife, thanks to the birds from the Rescue Center – Misho the common buzzard and Vladko the common kestrel. And, the winners of the competition, the students from Zheleznik Secondary School had the pleasure of releasing in the wild a common buzzard, treated in the clinic of the Green Balkans Rescue Centre.
