The "For a cleaner nature today, tomorrow and forever" project team is visiting the village of Belozem

27.09.2022
At the end of last week, the Green Balkans team of the project "For a cleaner nature today, tomorrow and forever"  was a guest of the assembly in the village of Belozem - the Bulgarian European village of the white stork.

The meeting was attended by children and their parents, residents and guests of the village. With a specially prepared presentation, we introduced the participants to the damage that we humans cause to nature and animals as a result of our activities.

The first assistant in our presentation was again the model of a stork's nest with waste in it, which we prepared within the project. There was a prize for all the inquisitive little ones - a sticker of the project, and for the finale - we released three Common kestrels, raised in the baby sector of the Rescue Center of Green Balkans.

Together with us were the Saker falcon Romeo, the little owl Blaga and the common buzzard Hari - an indispensable part of our team - birds with permanent disabilities, thanks to which the participants of our presentations can touch nature.

The activities are implemented under the project "For a cleaner nature - today, tomorrow and forever". The present project is implemented thanks to Lidl Bulgaria's largest socially responsible initiative "You and Lidl for a better life", in partnership with the "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" Foundation and the Bulgarian Donor Forum.
