Today was the first medical examination of the baby bearded vulture at the Green Balkans Rescue Center.
After almost a month ago, we put it back into its parents nest, now the baby enjoys good health and is strong and healthy!
This is a routine medical exam our team performs on all birds, hatched at the Center.
It is very important that the young chicks are regularly examined so we know they develop well and all is normal. This way we can be sure they will be able to face all new challenges after they are released into nature.
