The visit came after an invitation sent by the Centre team earlier this year.
Mr. Warlick got introduced to the work of the one and only in Bulgaria wildlife hospital, looked around the clinic, attended an examination of a patient, visited the baby room and took a tour round the premises and adjacent facilities. The common favourite of the Centre – Gruio the attractive White Pelican received special attention.
During his visit, Mr. Warlcik learnt more for the nature and wildlife of Bulgaria, for the threats and dangers they face and the work of Green Balkans to prevent them.
At the end of his visit, our guest released a Black Kite (Milvus migrans) – a bird treated in the Centre and answered questions of journalists.
Mr. Warlick got some presents to remember his visit and wrote down his impressions in the Visitors’ Book of the Centre.
