A second egg appeared in the nest of the oldest and most experienced pair of Egyptian Vultures at the Green Balkans Rescue Centre!
This, although expected by the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project team, is still great news for us!
The pair is part of the Green Balkans activities within the project, where one of our obligations involves pairing, hatching small ones for release into the wild and helping the wild population of the species.
We recall that there are a total of three pairs of Egyptian Vultures in the Rescue Centre. Two of them breed successfully, and the third is formed by young birds, which, hopefully, will enter reproductive maturity this year.
