The birds are a donation from our friend Luboš Vaněk from the Czech Republic.
Five of them which hatched this year, following their arrival at the Rescue Centre of Green Balkans, were examined, weighed, treated against parasites, marked and redirected to the adaptation aviaries in the field, which are part of the "Saker Falcon Reintroduction in Bulgaria" project.
The remaining three birds, after undergoing examination by the Centre's veterinarians, were placed in the so-called "stock" cage. It is the place where they will find their future partners.
We sincerely thank Luboš, who not for the first time has helped our activities for the restoration of the Saker Falcon in Bulgaria by donating birds hatched in his centre!
