After the work on the utility rooms complete, our main energy has now shifted to the vulture aviaries.
On the one hand, we make new, comfortable and tailored to the requirements of our feathered patients, nesting platforms. Each one of them is already equipped with a surveillance camera, through which our team will be able to monitor the behavior of the birds, the feeding and the rearing of the future young vultures hatched in our place. On the other hand, we are expanding the existing aviaries in order to give more space to the vultures, which will be temporarily raised in the Rescue Center before they travel to their new places in Stara Planina.
In general, the work at the Center, be it on the animals or on the constructions, is going on at full speed.
Repair works are carried out within a project „Bright future for Black Vulture“ LIFE14 NAT/BG/649.
