Prophylactic examination of the Egyptian vultures was carried out at the Rescue Centre
23.09.2021The Green Balkans Rescue Center veterinarians conducted a prophylactic examination of the Egyptian vultures at the Centre.
Fortunately, all the birds were in perfect health and satisfactory weight.
However, the birds were dewormed internally and externally, and we cut and shaped the claws and beaks of those that needed it.
At that time, the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project team from the Green Balkans Rescue Centre, with the help of volunteers, cleaned and disinfected the aviary - home of the vultures.
So, these birds can calmly welcome the coming cold days, in anticipation of the next spring, when, hopefully, the new breeding season will begin for them.
And, until then - they remain in the care of our team.
