In addition to leaving over half a ton of food for the birds, we did some other fieldwork as well.
Our team trimmed tree branches along the road on the way to the site, as well as in the station itself.
This way the Egyptian Vultures in the area will have enough food to stock up on before their big trip south, and our team and volunteers in the area will have easier access to the station.
We thank our helpers - the interns from Trakia University, for being side by side with our team once again!
The activities are funded by the Municipality of Prague and the Prague Zoo as part of project “Protection of the Egyptian vulture in the Balkans”.
