Earlier this week, a team from the Green Balkans Wildlife Rescue Centre and volunteers, students from the Trakia University, visited the Provadia area, where we provide food for Egyptian vultures pairs.

We started with several tasks. The most important were - mowing the grass on the feeding site near the village of Partizani, not only inside, but also outside, along the fence, placing carrion in two places, establishing a safe place inaccessible to terrestrial predators - foxes, jackals, stray dogs for the second pair to feed.

Within one day we managed to cope with everything, thanks to the efforts of our volunteers.

The activity is part of the work of Green Balkans on the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project.
