Three Griffon Vultures will land from the Netherlands… on the wings of a Bulgaria Air flight!

On December 17th, on a regular flight from Amsterdam, Bulgarai Air will ship three Griffon Vultures, granted by the Dutch Burgers' Zoo and Dierenrijk. The birds will fly at a discount, kindly provided by Bulgaria Air and Malenstein Air.

Prague Capital City has donated funds for preserving Egyptian vulture in Bulgaria

An unprecedented gesture of trust and responsibility towards nature conservation was demonstrated by Prague Capital City. The City Council of the Czech capital supported a project for Egyptian Vulture of the Wildlife Rescue Centre at Green Balkans - Stara Zagora.

A Czech crew of four representatives of Zoo Ostrava arrived on November 26th 2013, together with the Griffon male Matěj, which hatched on May 5th 2012 in the zoo.

A couple of years ago, the team of Green Balkans decided to celebrate the Day of the Wildlife Rescue Center on this date, as we believe that through our modest activity we contribute to the maturation of our society in terms of friendly and proper attitude towards wildlife and nature in general.
