At the end of the last week, Green Balkans, in the face of the Wildlife Rescue Center and in particular, the "Life for the Saker Falcon" project were guests of the Festival of Knowledge, organized by our partners from Trakia University!
For one day, our team, along with representatives of all faculties and branches of the University, introduced the guests and residents of the city to our activities and opportunities for volunteering with us.
Our assistant in this pleasant and very invigorating task was Vladko the Common kestrel, a long-time resident of the Rescue Center with a lot of experience in participating in festivals and events.
We also thank our volunteers, and students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Trakia University for their help and involvement.
The "Securing the recovery of the endangered Saker falcon in Bulgaria and southern Romania" (LIFE20 NAT/ BG/001162) project has a duration of 5 years and is funded by the LIFE program of the European Union.
