The event, under the slogan "EUnited for а better LIFE - 25 years good care of nature", was in the direction towards the setting of useful contacts and future partnerships for joint LIFE projects was organized by the LIFE “CAPTA BG” project implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Waters.
On the first day, of the two-day meeting we were guests of the international event, the slogan of which was: EUnited for а better LIFE - 25 years good care of nature". There were presented best practises of our and foreign projects, financed by the LIFE Programme.
The second day was dedicated to the Green Balkans’ projects, financed by the LIFE Programme, part of the activities was implemented in the Wildlife Centre of the Organization. The programme consisted of visit to the Centre, presenting the activities of the “Lesser Kestrel Recovery” LIFE11 NAT/BG/360 and “The Return of the Vultures in Bulgaria” LIFE 88 NAT/BG/278 projects, visiting of the facilities, presenting to the guests the work, results and the good practises of the projects’ teams.
At the end of the day the guests visited the “Neolithic dwellings” museum in Stara Zagora, Part of the rich historical heritage of the city.
The 25 years celebrations of the LIFE Programme and the Habitat Directive and NATURA 2000 Network moto, under which, all the events were implemented was "25 years of EU supporting Nature Environment and Climate Action trough LIFE".
