Food for the wild animals!
22.03.2022
In the last cold days of winter, just before the spring, the "Reintroduction of the Saker Falcon in Bulgaria" project team took care of the wild animals in the area of the adaptation aviaries of the project.
The winter in the area may not have been particularly severe, but it is still difficult for the wild animals to find food at this time of year.
That is why, traditionally, we from the Green Balkans brought grain. 60 kilograms of wheat and corn were scattered in four different places, including one of the falcon's artificial feeders.
This year, we brought both fruits and vegetables to the wild animals. And we left them at accessible places.
We hope to help the wild animals at least a little to wait for the spring, which is so persistent and does not come!
The "Reintroduction of the Saker Falcon in Bulgaria" project is funded by the Mohamed Bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund and Armeec JSC.
