So far, there are five happy pairs, and we expect that three more families will have their cute fluffy offspring these days :)).
During the forthcoming days, the happy families will raise their chicks, which will then leave for the village of Levka (Sakar SPA) and the adaptation aviaries of "Lesser Kestrel Recovery" LIFE11 NAT/BG/360 project. There, the youngsters will socialize with their fellows and later on begin the difficult but wonderful life in the wild.
So, we expect that the first Lesser Kestrels “made in Bulgaria” will fly in the skies of Bulgaria. And until then, we - the Rescue Centre team, will take care of the feathery families.
