Shortly after them, an egg appeared in Rhaegal and Arnalda's nest as well!
Currently, there are five copulating pairs of saker falcons at the Rescue Centre out of eleven in total. Two of them are the protagonists in our story!
We are glad that this year too we can share the good news of the beginning of the breeding season for these beautiful birds and we sincerely hope that it will be successful and that we can soon write about the hatching of many young falcons!
We remind you that we from Green Balkans have been working for the return of the species to our country for more than ten years, and thanks to our efforts several pairs are already rearing their offspring in the wild in Bulgaria!
The project “Saker Falcon Reintroduction in Bulgaria” is funded by the Mohamed Bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund and Armeec JSC.
