With the first days of March, the news from the Green Balkans Wildlife Rescue Centre becomes more and more exciting!
This time the event we will tell you about is from the aviary of one of the three pairs of Egyptian vultures at the Centre. These days, the team of the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project reported the first copulations there!
This is the first and most experienced couple of the Centre, the male of which is a donation for the project activities from Sofia Zoo!
We remind you that this pair has been breeding in our country since 2018, and the three small ones they have hatched so far have been successfully released as part of our efforts to support the species in nature.
We continue to watch with interest what is happening with the other two pairs of Egyptian vultures in our country. Expect news from them soon!
