Egyptian vultures at the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre - healthy in anticipation of the winter

11.11.2020
Autumn has come and with it the time for the planned preventive examinations of the birds living at the Green Balkans Rescue Centre.

Last week it was the turn of the Egyptian vultures.

In the preventive examination along with the veterinarians of the Centre and the team of the 'Egyptian Vulture New LIFE' project, part took veterinary students from the Trakia University, part of the 'Student Internships - Phase 2' project of the Ministry of Education and Science, funded by the Operational Program 'Science and Education for Smart Growth', co-financed by the European Social Fund.

We are happy to note that all examined birds were in excellent health and after prophylactic deworming are now fully ready to meet the winter.
