Curious children from Educational center “Kukuryak” visited the Wildlife rehabilitation and breeding center

The kids from Educational center “Kukuryak”, Stara Zagora are enthusiasts about nature and animals. They took part in a discussion in the visitors’ corner of the Center, teaching them how to save and protect them.
They took a look in the daily life of the vultures through the surveillance cameras, installed in the cages by the team of the Green Balkans’ Wildlife rehabilitation and breeding center.
As the children were mainly interested in vultures, the general topic was our work with vultures, the rehabilitation and care for them, both in their environment in the wild and in the aviaries of the Center. The kids learned about the significance of the vultures in the wild, about the reasons for their extinction and for the threats to vultures in the contemporary world.
