These are the pairs of Barn Owls in the Centre.
They are two and currently have 9 eggs in total!
The Barn Owls pairs are permanent inhabitants of the Rescue Centre - birds with disabilities, that cannot be released in nature. Every year they raise up to two own generations, but that is not all!
These families also have a very important 'social' task. They are successful adoptive parents of wild orphans of their kind, left for one or another reason without parents.
Breeding birds of the same species is important for the young and prevents their domestication, which inevitably occurs when raised by humans.
