She came to us in early April, completely paralyzed. Her legs were bent under her body and she could not use them, it was only her reaction to touch that gave us hope that all was not lost.
And so the fight began, we started her with special therapy designed to return the sensitivity to her feet, for the first few days Boyka could only stand with a special “Swing” device that kept her upright. Subsequently our brave Stork started to get up more often and for longer periods.
The next stage of her road to freedom saw Boyka moved from the ER to the flight cages, here she continued to get strong until yesterday, when the most wonderful thing happened, Boyka was released.
We wish her a trouble-free flight, and hope that any future meetings with her are only with the aid of binoculars.
