The festival was held for the second consecutive year. We also take part in it for the second time.
This time besides a stand on which we presented the activities of Green Balkans in preserving species like the Lesser Kestrel, the Saker Falcon, the different species vultures, the red-breasted goose and others, we also had an event in which we released a bird from the species Eurasian hobby, that was treated in the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre – Green Balkans.
We released it in the company of children and their parents.
The park Bedechka is an emblematic place for starozagorians. It is a place for sport, strolls and relaxation right on the very edge of town. But it is also a home for many wild animals and since last Saturday – for an Eurasian hobby too.
