A second egg in the nest of the Egyptian Vultures in the Rescue Centre!

15.04.2019
We are very happy to share that the Egyptian Vulture pair in the Green Balkans Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre has a second egg.

It was a joy for our team to observe the happy event at the end of the previous week. That was made possible thanks to the mounted surveillance cameras in the aviary of the vulture family.

The second egg came about a little over a week after the laying of the birds' first one. And now the selfless birds will be watching over their future hatchlings night and day, waiting for the happy moment!

We are reminding that the pair is part of the 'Egyptian Vulture' NEW LIFE (LIFE16 NAT/BG/000874) project and the birds' offspring will be released in the wild as part of the project activities.
