A new veterinary manual for wild vultures in distress

The Green Balkans team, part of the Egyptian Vulture New LIFE project, has created a special first aid manual for endangered wild vultures and their treatment.
The manual is intended for non-specialists - field people, rangers, and locals, as well as for specialists - veterinarians, with little or no experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of vultures.
The information in the manual includes first aid, which is the first and most important unit in the rehabilitation of injured animals. Applied competently, first aid greatly facilitates the subsequent work of specialists in the treatment of endangered animal and favors its successful completion.
The information contained in the manual is the result of over 25 years of work of veterinary specialists of the Green Balkans Wildlife Rescue Center and the knowledge and skills we have acquired during our practice.
