The Green Balkans’ Wildlife rehabilitation and breeding center participated in the annual folklore festival Bogorodichna stapka which was held just a few days ago in Stara Zagora Mineral baths.
During the official opening of the festival seven Common kestrels were released. The birds - wild orphans, raised in the Wildlife rehabilitation and breeding center, flied off from the hands the official guests of the event – representatives of the local and municipal authorities, members of the parliament from the region.
We would like to thank the organizers for their invitation to take part in this exciting event. We also wish good luck to the juvenile birds, and to the participants in the festival - see you soon next year.
