14 events were organized within the last three weeks of our activities under the project "For a cleaner nature" funded by "You and LIDL for a better life"
02.11.2022The Green Balkans team organized and was a guest at 14 events in the last days of our activities under the "For a cleaner nature" project, funded by the "You and LIDL for a better life" initiative.
The purpose of our visits was to familiarize the children with the problems of environmental pollution, the reasons for it and the ways in which each of us can help.
Invariable helpers in our endeavor were the model of a stork's nest with waste in it, made especially for the purposes of the project, as well as the birds with permanent disabilities from the Rescue Center, part of our educational programs - Misho the buzzard, Vladko the kestrel, Chara the tawny owl and Blaga the little owl.
And the students of veterinary medicine, interns at the Center, were our great support in this difficult undertaking.

The present project is implemented thanks to Lidl Bulgaria's largest socially responsible initiative "You and Lidl for a better life", in partnership with the "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" Foundation and the Bulgarian Donor Forum.
