These days, the Green Balkans team were guest visitors to the children of the Stara Zagora villages Madjerito and Preslaven.
We told them, their parents and representatives of the local community, such as mayors and community center trustees, about the work of Green Balkans on the return of the Saker Falcon to Bulgaria. In addition, we talked about trash separation advantages, not only for environmental protection but also for humans.
Finally , we finished with a game. The children curious for more, got to live in the shoes of an ornithologist, observing with binoculars the bird world around us.
Of course, before the end of the visit, everyone received gifts from us - specially made badges and stickers.
As for the hosts from the community centers visited, there were certificates and posters!
This visit was a part of Green Balkans work on the project “Volunteers for the wilderness - looking for the Saker Falcon”.
This project is being implemented thanks to Lidl Bulgaria’s largest social responsibility initiative “You and Lidl for our tomorrow” with partnering with the foundation "Workshop for Civic Initiatives" and Bulgarian Donors Forum.
